BC Cancer Foundation Media Advisory - Photo/Interview Opportunity

    VANCOUVER, April 28 /CNW/ -    WHAT    Axel Merckx, Trevor Linden and friends headline a pep rally to build    support for the Community Ride they will lead to raise funds for cancer    research at the BC Cancer Agency as part of the BC Cancer Foundation's    Westside Cycling Classic, presented by the Airey Group, on June 1.    WHEN    12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2008    WHERE    Outside BC Cancer Agency's Research Centre: 675 W. 10th Ave., Vancouver.    WHO    Tour de France veteran Axel Merckx, Canucks hero Trevor Linden, Olympic    gold medalist Ross Rebagliati, cancer survivor and fundraiser Andrew    Gregory, cancer survivor and participant, and MLA Sindi Hawkins,    cyclists and cycling fans by the dozen.
