U.S. Town Goes On Auction Block
The entire tow of Buford, Wyoming - a 10-acre town site with just one resident - will go to auction this Thursday with a minimum bid of $100,000. Williams and Williams auction house (register for online bids at www.auctionnetwork.com) said Buford has five buildings, a school and a store. The town of Pray, Montana (pop 8) near Yellowstone National Park is also up for sale, priced at $1.4 million. See details at www.ranchland.com.
